Ancient and modern grains: effects on human health: A first short review

چکیده
A short review concerning the distinction between ancient and modern grains or varieties of wheat, cereals pseudocereals, along with their quality related mainly to human health that environment is provided. Modern plant breeding, especially started before Green Revolution, based on gross selection very few crosses among local varieties/populations may be considered grains, while those obtained after revolution, intensive multiple foreign varieties, including by induced mutation, grains. According recent researches, it seems are healthier than ones. The former would also have a lower environmental agricultural impact latter. Since picture this topic not yet clear I was asked throw more light. In fact, most researchers in field do understand difference varieties. Thus, objective paper clarify stimulate research, possibly multidisciplinary approach. Italy, for instance, there ad hoc research projects should adequately financed supported, during development.
